First Primary Policy: Social Democrats will build a just society and a world of freedom, equality and solidarity. It operates each merit their own and the common welfare. Fairness is the rights and responsibilities of balance and true freedom in a society in which carrying values of democracy and solidarity, solidarity.

History: SDP was founded in 1899 in Turku in Finland as the Labor Party. The current name was introduced in 1903 in Forssa, held a party after the meeting. The meeting adopted the first principle program, called Forssa program. In 1952, a new principle program.
